Kuwait has a very modern extensive well maintained highway network. On major highways, the maximum speed is 120 km/h. Most of the people in the Country travel by automobile. All highways and main roads have speed cameras that captures speeding cars and traffic signal violations. Bus services are provided by City Bus and state owned Kuwait Public Transportation Corporation.
Currently there is no railway system in the Country.
Kuwait has only one civil airport, Kuwait International Airport that serves as the principal international travel hub. State owned Kuwait Airways is the largest airline in the country. Private airlines Jazeera Airways & Wataniya Airways also operates from Kuwait airport.
Kuwait has one of the largest shipping industries in the Persian Gulf. Shuwaikh and Shuaiba are the principal commercial seaports in the Country. Mina Al-Almadi, the largest port in the country handles most of Kuwait's oil exports.
